These days, a lot of contacts are on smartphones, and even some push button phones can export phone numbers to .VCF format. Back in 2015, which is now 9 years ago, I published my Freeware program GoogleTel. The program was successful and made it possible to have a telephone number printed on paper list from Google contacts or Gmail.
I didn't use the printed list to call someone according to it, but I needed to have an overview. I wrote notes in the list where I want to change something.
The vcf2html program creates output for printing in one step, i.e. with one click of the mouse. Compared to GoogleTel, it is also possible to get contacts on paper via the .VCF format from a push-button phone.
A .VCF file may look like this:
Great, everything I need is here, but I'm not going to make the .HTML file by hand. So I'll leave the work to the program.
The required parameters must be saved in the file vcf2html.ini.
Surname=N Telephone=TEL
The program vcf2html does not have a graphic superstructure with a menu, so I have to specify the name of the file from which the data should be read. I will edit the file vcf2html.ini as follows :
Surname=N Telephone=TEL gmail.vcf
If I do nothing else, the vcf2html program creates a gmail.html file. That is, the name of the output file is taken from the input file.
This page is not intended to replace the program manual. Extensive manual where they are described you can find other program options in the .ZIP package together with the program.
The program is FREEWARE. However, the author reserves the right to decide where the program will be saved for download. If you are going to program on download to another server, please inform the author ..
